![]() Hannah | My name is Hannah and I am a BHSAI instructor here at Wembury. I have been an instructor for nearly 10 years and have taught a wide variety of people and horses. I am originally from the Peak District near Manchester but moved to Plymouth 7 years ago. I love my job, the fab staff and the ponies. As well as teaching, I help the other staff achieve their qualifications and together, we work to ensure that all the horses and ponies are very well looked after and cared for. I am also responsible for making sure the horses' Farrier records are up to date and making sure our furry friends in the Small Animal Corner are in tip-top condition! ![]() Toni | Hi my name is Toni! I am 24 years old, I've completed my Level 2 apprenticeship in Customer service and now work as a yard hand. I have always had a love for horses. I started taking lessons here in May 2015 and was very excited to begin working here in the September. My current qualifications are: ABRS Levels 1-4 in Stable Management. I also have a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. My favourite horse at the yard is Minstrel as he was the horse I had for my first ever lesson. But I do find our two smallest boys, Vinnie and Zeus extremely cute!! |

![]() Hamish | Hi, I'm Hamish! My pursuit of a career in veterinary medicine brought me here for work experience during my summer holiday in 2016, and it was so brilliant that I asked to stay! I was later lucky enough to be offered a post as a part-time member of the Wembury Bay team! Being around the staff and horses has taught me a lot about equine physiology and general horse care. When I'm not at the yard I'm at Plymouth College studying for my A-Levels. Whilst I would say that Minstrel is a firm favourite of mine, I should add that every horse and pony on the yard has character, and will definitely give you a memorable experience, should you get the chance to meet them! |
![]() Tori Aylmore | Freelance instructor Tori Aylmore and her spaniel puppy Logan, can be can be found teaching at Wembury on Sundays! Tori, who originally trained with Heather Moffett some years ago, has a keen interest in horse/rider biomechanics and is passionate about teaching effective riding and a kinder way to ride and train. Tori works with riders of all ages and abilities, both on the flat and over jumps, and specialises in working with nervous riders to help improve their confidence. Outside of Wembury, Tori has her own training yard in Ashburton working with a variety of young horses for breaking and schooling, as well as older horses needing sympathetic remedial training or rehabilitation following injury or surgery. Tori is also a fully trained LM approved saddle fitting consultant and offers sympathetic saddle fitting to WBRS horses and ponies, as well as her extended client base across Devon. |
![]() Tamara Egglestone | Tamara is a BHS Stage 3 Coach (AI) UKCC2 and teaches our lovely Pony Club and other lessons at Wembury on Saturdays. Tamara also runs her own freelance equestrian business offering many different services from lessons to clipping! She is experienced in all disciplines of riding and in her spare time competes with her own horse. |
![]() Brodie | Hi I'm Brodie, I'm the Newcombes' bouncy black lab and I just love playing at the yard with alllll my friends! I'm nearly one now so I'm quite a big fellow! I love cuddles and biscuits, definitely biscuits! Don't forget to say hello when you visit and give me a big tummy scratch!! |
